|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BWET | Breakwave Tanker Shipping ETF | theme | Tanker Shipping | 38.94% | 406.44% | 581.42% | 6950.12% | 231.92% | -0.27% | 3.50% | 2.391e+07 | AGPXX | Shipping earnings are wildly cyclical and this fund's return data reflects a war-risk/tonnage dislocation plus thin-asset NAV effects — treat the headline number as an artifact of the fund's structure, not a repeatable return. Real exposure here is spot tanker rates and Red Sea routing. |
| ZCSH | The Zcash ETF Shares | commodity | Zcash | 5.92% | 160.19% | 247.79% | 522.99% | 115.93% | -19.81% | — | 3.047e+08 | — | Privacy-coin speculation riding the same crypto-beta wave that lifted Solana and XRP funds. Zcash's value case rests on privacy demand and halving-cycle scarcity, but it is a single-asset, high-volatility vehicle with no earnings anchor. |
| UGA | United States Gasoline Fund LP | commodity | Gasoline | 6.44% | 28.87% | 47.45% | 134.89% | 26.79% | -3.43% | — | 1.205e+08 | — | Gasoline cracks have widened with refinery outages and a resilient driving season. Futures-based commodity funds bleed from roll costs outside steep backwardation, so this is a trading vehicle, not a hold. |
| EWY | iShares MSCI South Korea ETF | country | South Korea | -9.86% | -3.88% | 20.45% | 108.48% | -0.76% | -22.40% | 0.59% | 2.414e+10 | 000660.KQ, 005930.KQ, 402340.KQ, 009150.KQ, 105560.KQ, 055550.KQ, 005380.KQ, 086790.KQ, 034020.KQ, 012450.KQ | Korea is the single biggest 1-year winner in global equity — memory and semicap leadership (memory, foundry equipment) drove an extraordinary run, but it is now consolidating hard on AI-hardware de-grossing. Highly concentrated in two chip names. |
| USO | United States Oil Fund | commodity | Crude Oil | -2.50% | 25.68% | 17.56% | 108.29% | 15.38% | -6.69% | — | 1.706e+09 | — | Crude exposure tied to OPEC+ discipline and geopolitical risk premium. Like gasoline, roll yield matters as much as spot; contango erodes returns in flat markets. |
| AIS | VistaShares Artificial Intelligence Supercycle ETF | theme | Artificial Intelligence | -0.74% | -4.07% | 41.02% | 89.51% | 7.25% | -19.66% | 0.75% | 6.972e+08 | 000660.KQ, MU, AMD, SMTC, MRVL, TSM, INTC, VRT, SIMO, STX | Concentrated AI-infrastructure basket that benefits from the compute buildout but is directly in the crosshairs of the current repricing of AI capex — the market is rotating from second-derivative suppliers toward platform owners. |
| EWT | iShares MSCI Taiwan ETF | country | Taiwan | 3.03% | 12.16% | 46.01% | 84.36% | 17.37% | -3.16% | 0.59% | 1.075e+10 | 2330.TW, 2454.TW, 2308.TW, 2317.TW, 3711.TW, 2303.TW, 3037.TW, 1303.TW, 2383.TW, 3017.TW | Taiwan is the cleanest large-cap expression of AI semiconductor leadership (TSMC-dominated). Single-country and single-supply-chain risk are both extreme, especially with cross-strait headlines. |
| CRAK | VanEck Oil Refiners ETF | theme | Oil Refiners | 0.24% | 24.92% | 36.31% | 83.51% | 23.22% | -2.27% | 0.61% | 1.717e+08 | VLO, MPC, RIGD, PSX, PKN.WA, 5020.T, NESTE.HE, GALP.LS, OMV.VI, DINO | Refining margins are the swing factor — crack spreads respond to outages and product inventories. Refiners are classic late-cycle energy beneficiaries with strong buybacks when margins hold. |
| CHPX | Global X AI Semiconductor & Quantum ETF | theme | AI Semiconductors & Quantum | 2.40% | 1.77% | 45.39% | 77.41% | 11.01% | -11.50% | 0.50% | 2.576e+08 | MU, TSM, NVDA, AVGO, AMD, 2454.TW, ASML, MRVL, 000660.KQ, INTC | Hybrid semiconductor-and-quantum basket — the quantum sleeve has been a notable weak spot recently, so this fund carries meaningful exposure to the most speculative corner of the AI complex. |
| SMH | VanEck Semiconductor ETF | theme | Semiconductors | 3.95% | -1.55% | 33.30% | 71.73% | 8.56% | -11.65% | 0.35% | 6.782e+10 | NVDA, TSM, AMD, AVGO, MU, AMAT, INTC, TXN, KLAC, ASML | The bellwether AI-hardware fund; it captures the secular compute story but is currently the epicenter of profit-taking as cost-per-token compression shifts value toward software. |
| IGPT | Invesco AI and Next Gen Software ETF | theme | AI & Software | 2.57% | 1.89% | 48.82% | 70.94% | 12.16% | -9.18% | 0.57% | 1.213e+09 | AMD, META, MU, NVDA, GOOGL, INTC, 000660.KQ, SNDK, 2454.TW, MRVL | Software-levered AI play — strategically on the right side of the cost-curve repricing since cheaper model inference expands app monetization rather than cannibalizing it. |
| VLUE | iShares MSCI USA Value Factor ETF | other | Value Factor | -2.16% | 1.79% | 30.00% | 60.18% | 7.82% | -3.72% | 0.15% | 1.587e+10 | MU, CSCO, GM, VZ, T, HPE, BAC, DELL, PFE, QCOM | Rules-based US value tilt; the factor is a hedge against mega-cap growth concentration but lags badly when momentum and AI leadership dominate breadth. |
| GSG | iShares GSCI Commodity-Indexed Trust Fund | commodity | Broad Commodities | -0.14% | 17.48% | 15.51% | 58.83% | 11.83% | -1.97% | — | 1.04e+09 | — | Broad GSCI-tracking commodity trust — the inflation hedge of choice, but roll drag and energy-heavy weighting make it a macro-regime bet rather than a diversifier. |
| ARKG | ARK Genomic Revolution ETF | theme | Genomics | 8.60% | 20.54% | 77.35% | 56.33% | 30.39% | -12.84% | 0.75% | 1.307e+09 | TWST, TXG, TEM, CRSP, ABSI, PSNL, GH, NTRA, ILMN, CDNA | Genomics had a violent three-month snapback on clinical catalysts and rate relief, yet biotech funding-sensitive names are the first to sell off when refinancing costs bite. High-beta, pre-profit heavy. |
| ARTY | iShares Future AI & Tech ETF | theme | Artificial Intelligence & Tech | 2.57% | 10.66% | 43.30% | 56.27% | 14.13% | -4.70% | 0.47% | 3.691e+09 | AMD, MRVL, MU, NVDA, 2330.TW, AVGO, CRWV, 3443.TW, ORCL, SMCI | Broad AI-and-tech basket leaning toward application-layer names, which insulates it somewhat from the hardware capex unwind. |
| XLE | State Street Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF | sector | Energy | 1.94% | 16.60% | 17.11% | 54.72% | 12.42% | 0.00% | 0.08% | 3.867e+10 | XOM, CVX, COP, VLO, MPC, PSX, WMB, SLB, EOG, KMI | Energy has been a top sector on a 1-year basis; integrated oil and midstream cash flows are near cycle highs with shareholder returns, making this a commodity-inflation core holding. |
| COLO | Global X MSCI Colombia ETF | country | Colombia | -5.86% | 9.04% | 15.52% | 53.90% | 11.71% | -6.40% | 0.62% | 1.274e+08 | PFCIBEST.CL, ECOPETROL.CL, ISA.CL, CIBEST, GEB.CL, PFDAVIGRP, CEMARGOS.CL, GRUPOSURA.CL, PFAVAL | Colombia is an oil-linked frontier market — the return is dominated by crude and peso moves, with thin liquidity and political risk on the reform agenda. |
| PDBC | Invesco Optimum Yield Diversified Commodity Strategy No K-1 ETF | commodity | Diversified Commodities | 0.35% | 16.28% | 15.00% | 53.50% | 11.18% | -1.19% | 0.59% | 6.073e+09 | IUGXX | No-K-1 diversified commodity strategy with an optimized roll — designed to reduce contango drag, which is why it's a cleaner broad commodity hold than index peers. |
| DBC | Invesco DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund | commodity | Commodities | 0.51% | 20.85% | 16.70% | 52.17% | 11.52% | -1.04% | 0.85% | 1.875e+09 | AGPXX, BRNG6, TBLL, WINZ26 | Legacy broad commodity index fund, energy-heaviest of the group; K-1 tax treatment and roll drag are the tradeoffs versus the no-K-1 variants. |

| PXE | Invesco Energy Exploration & Production ETF | theme | Energy Exploration & Production | 1.45% | 19.76% | 18.50% | 51.19% | 14.39% | -1.46% | 0.63% | 1.263e+08 | VLO, MPC, PSX, COP, OXY, EOG, FANG, EQT, CVI, PBF | Near-duplicate E&P exposure with a small-cap tilt — more torque to oil moves, more volatility and balance-sheet risk. |
| HGER | Harbor Commodity All-Weather Strategy ETF | commodity | Commodity Strategy | -0.14% | 14.28% | 16.31% | 49.23% | 11.09% | -1.01% | — | 3.194e+09 | — | All-weather commodity strategy that blends carry and momentum signals — positioned as an inflation diversifier rather than a directional bet. |
| EPU | iShares MSCI Peru and Global Exposure ETF | country | Peru | -0.02% | 4.54% | 5.27% | 47.77% | 6.70% | -4.50% | 0.59% | 5.311e+08 | SCCO, BAP, BVN, HOC.L, VOLCABC1, CVERDEC1.LM, FERREYC1.LM, 1208.HK, IFS.LM, ISA.CL | Peru is a copper-and-gold leveraged market; the miner-heavy index means returns track metal prices and political risk in Lima more than domestic growth. |

Takeaway
What this screen shows
The market's leadership is unusually broad at the fund level. Roughly 368 ETFs currently hold an established uptrend, but the ones that rank highest on 1-year performance cluster into just a handful of macro stories rather than one dominant theme.
1. Country funds are the biggest winners — Asia's AI supply chain. South Korea, Taiwan and Japan vehicles dominate the top of the list. That is the capital-markets footprint of memory and semiconductor leadership; with the 10-year at 4.63% and VIX at 14.6, there has been no macro shock to derail the trade, only a rotation within it. Note the sharp divergence between their explosive 1-year numbers and negative recent 1-month reads — this is the AI-hardware de-grossing showing up in real time.
2. Commodity-inflation is quietly a top-1-year performer. Crude oil, gasoline, broad commodity strategies, refining, E&P and copper funds all rank highly. WTI is up over 100% year-over-year, and tanker shipping sits at the epicenter of it. These are roll-sensitive vehicles — contango is a real drag — so they reward tactical, not buy-and-hold, use.
3. Software and cybersecurity are holding the AI narrative better than hardware. The current regime's key insight is that cheaper inference benefits application and platform monetizers while hurting second-derivative suppliers. Cybersecurity and AI-software ETFs are the cleanest expressions of that.
How to read the list
- 1Y return ranks the list, but recent months tell the story. Several of the highest 1-year names carry sharply negative 1-month returns — momentum unwind, not thesis break.
% from 150D SMAshows how extended each fund is. Values far above zero mean the uptrend is intact but crowded; values near or below zero inside an uptrend flag a pullback within a trend — often the better entry.- Commodity and single-country funds are the highest-beta entries, with leverage to a single commodity or a single market's politics. Sector and factor funds diversify that idiosyncratic risk.
- Low expense ratios cluster in the broad-market and factor funds; the thematic/country names cost materially more, which compounds against you over a full cycle.
Caveats
A few headline numbers are artifacts of fund mechanics rather than investable returns; shipping and commodity futures funds can produce NAV distortions that should not be extrapolated. Screen output is end-of-day and excludes leveraged, inverse and illiquid products — but it does not size positions or manage risk for you. In a market with flat breadth and extreme dispersion, fund-level screens are a starting point: the alpha is in the constituents.
