About

Research should start with a question, not a ticker.

Relaxfolio is built for self-directed investors who want to investigate their own ideas — and find the companies they would otherwise miss.

Most research starts and ends with the same names.

Most investment research begins with the tickers already in the spotlight, and the tools usually reinforce that habit: a screener waits for you to translate your idea into filters, and a feed shows you what everyone else is already looking at.

The interesting part is often one layer down — a supplier, an enabler, or an infrastructure business a trend quietly depends on. Those connections are hard to hold in your head and easy to miss.

A question in, a researchable shortlist out.

Data and methodology

What Relaxfolio uses, and the limits of it.

Relaxfolio covers thousands of US-listed stocks and ETFs. It draws on public company filings and market data. Market data updates during US trading hours, and fundamentals and filings refresh as new data is published. Each candidate shows the data it is based on.

  • Public filings. Company financials and disclosures from regulatory sources.
  • Market data. Prices, volume, and related market context for US-listed securities.
  • Signals, not verdicts. Relaxfolio ranks and organises candidates by the idea you described. It does not predict returns, and a candidate appearing in a result is not a recommendation.
  • Freshness. Data is refreshed continuously; some sources update daily or with filings, so figures can trail the very latest by a day.
