New 150D MA Cross-above — October 7, 2026
Query: new up trends in stocks or ETFs · data as of 2026-10-07
Rebuilt from scratch: two-table screen of curated-US-universe stocks and ETFs that recently reclaimed their 150-day SMA (fresh-cross flags plus names just above the line with the 50-day above the 150-day). 45 stocks ranked by momentum potential — tech infrastructure/semicap, industrial automation and health care lead, while regional banks and utilities form a fragile rate-sensitive tail; 45 ETFs ranked by relative volume — dominated by short-duration/cash-like fixed income plus cap-weighted global equity and momentum wrappers. Every row carries new qualitative commentary and a narrative on the screen's narrow breadth, all merged into content.json.
U.S. stocks and ETFs in the curated universe that have recently crossed back above their 150-day simple moving average, signalling a new uptrend. The stock list is ranked by momentum potential (highest first); the ETF list is ranked by relative volume. Names with the “New Cross Flag” set crossed in the most recent session; the rest are sitting just above the 150-day line with the 50-day average now above the 150-day average.
Stocks Crossing Above the 150-Day Moving Average
| Symbol | Company | Sector | Industry | Theme | Price | 1M Return | 6M Return | % from 150D SMA | 50D > 150D SMA | New Cross Flag | Momentum Potential | Volatility Potential | Rel Volume | Technical Pattern | Days to Earnings | P/E (TTM) | Rev Growth YoY % | Comments |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AMZN | Amazon.com, Inc. | Consumer Discretionary | Internet Retail | Online Retail Marketplaces | 259.92 | 1.15% | 17.48% | 5.15% | 1 | 0 | 97.1 | 24.6 | 0.8829 | Uptrend | 23 | 20.91 | 12.38% | The largest and most liquid name on the list, but note the momentum score is doing heavy lifting here: its move off the 150-day line is modest and it is well above the 50-day. The setup is a mature mega-cap trend resuming rather than a fresh base breakout, so the trend is more about index-level flows than idiosyncratic catalysts. |
| ROK | Rockwell Automation, Inc. | Industrials | Specialty Industrial Machinery | Enterprise AI & Automation | 441.9 | 2.98% | 21.81% | 3.36% | 1 | 0 | 93 | 47.6 | 1.0474 | Uptrend | 29 | 41.42 | 0.94% | Automation bellwether levered to re-shoring and data-center capex. The fresh cross coincides with improving order commentary across the discrete-automation complex, though the premium multiple leaves it sensitive to any short-cycle disappointment. |
| AME | AMETEK, Inc. | Industrials | Specialty Industrial Machinery | Industrial Sensors & Automation | 248.62 | 4.72% | 8.18% | 6.47% | 1 | 0 | 90.6 | 16.6 | 0.9068 | Uptrend | 22 | 36.29 | 6.63% | Aerospace/defense and medical instrumentation supplier with an under-the-radar electrification angle. Its cross sits near the top of the list on momentum quality, and the company's diversified end-market mix makes it less dependent on any single capex cycle. |
| NTCT | NetScout Systems, Inc. | Information Technology | Software - Infrastructure | Cybersecurity | 40.07 | 8.36% | 19.22% | 6.08% | 1 | 0 | 89.9 | 44.7 | 1.2004 | Uptrend | 29 | 24.43 | 4.47% | Cybersecurity is the strongest non-semicap tech subgroup by breadth recently, and NetScout has the highest momentum score in software here. A smaller-cap, service-provider-skewed name, so conviction depends on carrier spending rather than enterprise security budgets. |
| GTES | Gates Industrial Corporation pl | Industrials | Specialty Industrial Machinery | Diversified Industrials | 27.41 | 6.86% | 11.83% | 6.23% | 1 | 0 | 88.4 | 35.6 | 1.4071 | Uptrend | 21 | 19.44 | 1.03% | Industrial belts and hoses maker with heavy aftermarket content — a higher-margin, less cyclical mix than the headline suggests. Relative volume is elevated on the cross, hinting at institutional accumulation. |
| LOGI | Logitech International S.A. - R | Information Technology | Computer Hardware | Video Game Publishers & Developers | 102.18 | 5.45% | 9.59% | 2.51% | 1 | 0 | 84.4 | 23.4 | 0.4957 | Uptrend | 27 | 18.75 | 6.28% | Peripherals and gaming hardware name whose low relative volume on the cross suggests the move is drift rather than a volume-backed breakout. Its cross is the shallowest on the list, so it is the least confirmed structurally. |
| RMD | ResMed Inc. | Health Care | Medical Instruments & Supplies | Medical Devices & Surgical Technologies | 225.98 | 2.23% | -1.47% | 5.12% | 1 | 0 | 83.9 | 18.9 | 0.8564 | Uptrend | 23 | 21.67 | 9.84% | Sleep-apnea device leader whose 6M return is still negative even as it reclaims the 150-day line — a classic turnaround/mean-reversion setup as GLP-1 fears fade from the narrative. Health care is the only non-tech sector with real relative strength right now. |
| CWBC | Community West Bancshares | Financials | Banks - Regional | US Regional & Community Banks | 26.06 | -0.99% | 11.03% | 4.81% | 1 | 0 | 81.8 | 16 | 0.797 | Uptrend | 16 | 14.81 | — | A micro-cap community bank crossing with almost no cushion above its 50-day. Regional banks are among the most rate-sensitive, lowest-breadth groups, so this is a bottoming trade in a sector with no index support. |
| MQ | Marqeta, Inc. | Information Technology | Software - Infrastructure | Fintech & Digital Payments | 17.06 | 4.92% | 4.79% | 4.07% | 1 | 0 | 81.3 | 33.7 | 1.1273 | Uptrend | 27 | 189.56 | 23.25% | Payments processing platform; the cross is barely above the 150-day line and the trailing P/E looks inflated by depressed earnings. The story depends on the embedded-finance ramp re-accelerating rather than on trend strength. |
| TEL | TE Connectivity plc | Information Technology | Electronic Components | Power & Electronic Components | 215.83 | 5.29% | -2.47% | 3.58% | 1 | 0 | 81.3 | 27.3 | 0.8409 | Sideways channel (87%), Uptrend | 21 | 21.14 | 8.94% | Connectivity and sensor supplier with the highest momentum score of the electronic-components names here, though it is tagged in the upper reaches of a sideways channel — a breakout from that range would matter more than the 150-day cross itself. |
| SLAB | Silicon Laboratories, Inc. | Information Technology | Semiconductors | Semiconductor Capital Equipment | 221.945 | 0.88% | 5.51% | 2.67% | 1 | 0 | 80.8 | 29 | 1.1716 | Upward channel (65%), Uptrend | 27 | — | 34.29% | Sitting in an upward channel and one of the highest-momentum semis on the list — part of the compute supply chain that is where earnings revisions actually live. The wide volatility-potential score flags a structurally high-beta name. |
| LFUS | Littelfuse, Inc. | Information Technology | Electronic Components | Semiconductor Capital Equipment | 434.74 | 2.79% | 18.54% | 4.84% | 1 | 0 | 80 | 40.5 | 0.9176 | Sideways channel (50%), Uptrend | 21 | — | 8.92% | Circuit-protection supplier with industrial and auto exposure; mid-range in a sideways channel, so the 150-day cross is more of a stabilization than a confirmed breakout. Elevated volatility score reflects cyclical end-market swings. |
| HIMS | Hims & Hers Health, Inc. | Health Care | Drug Manufacturers - Specialty & Generic | Telehealth & Virtual Care | 29.54 | 4.86% | 52.35% | 5.73% | 1 | 0 | 74.3 | 57.1 | 0.4495 | Uptrend | 33 | 57.92 | 59.00% | Direct-to-consumer telehealth name with the highest growth profile on the stock list and a genuinely high-risk, high-volatility score. The cross arrives after a sharp de-rating, so it trades on regulatory/GLP-1 policy headlines more than trend mechanics. |
| FLEX | Flex Ltd. | Information Technology | Electronic Components | IT Services & Consulting | 119.34 | 4.40% | 63.06% | 5.92% | 1 | 0 | 74.2 | 37.1 | 0.8227 | Uptrend | 21 | 46.26 | 8.14% | Contract manufacturer levered to AI/data-center hardware ramps; the strong 6M relative strength and cross together suggest the trend is intact, not new. Momentum score is a bit lower than its price action would imply — worth watching for a re-rating as earnings convert. |
| SHO | Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. | Real Estate | REIT - Hotel & Motel | Retail REITs | 11.2 | 3.96% | 23.40% | 6.24% | 1 | 0 | 71 | 60 | 0.6674 | Uptrend | 30 | 50.91 | 6.00% | Lodging REIT reclaiming the 150-day line, but real estate is one of the weakest sectors by breadth as rates back up. The setup is a rate-sensitive bounce, so it is hostage to the long end rather than hotel fundamentals. |
| NPO | Enpro Inc. | Industrials | Specialty Industrial Machinery | Specialty Materials & Nonwovens | 317.68 | 5.51% | 16.27% | 3.96% | 1 | 0 | 70.7 | 44.4 | 0.9151 | Uptrend | 27 | 152.73 | 9.02% | Sealing and engineered-materials industrial with a strong multi-month move; its cross is shallow and the elevated P/E reflects a low-earnings base. Quality niche franchise but the valuation leaves little room for error. |
| TRNS | Transcat, Inc. | Industrials | Specialty Business Services | Life Science Tools & Reagents | 88.79 | 6.03% | 12.31% | 6.18% | 1 | 0 | 69.7 | 19.9 | 0.9159 | Uptrend | 26 | 155.77 | 19.20% | Calibration-services roll-up in the life-science tools complex, one of the better recent themes. The small-cap, high-multiple profile means it is more sensitive to acquisition integration and lab-capex cycles than to broad index flows. |
| LSPD | Lightspeed Commerce Inc. Subord | Information Technology | Software - Application | Fintech & Digital Payments | 10.23 | 0.10% | 17.32% | 5.56% | 1 | 0 | 69.4 | 66.9 | 0.7529 | Uptrend | 29 | — | — | Payments/commerce software name with a heavily damaged long-term chart and a very high volatility score. The 150-day cross is a first sign of repair after a deep de-rating, but this remains a speculative, headline-driven recovery. |
| SPNT | SiriusPoint Ltd. | Financials | Insurance - Reinsurance | Reinsurance, Property & Casualty Insurance | 24.62 | 1.95% | 5.94% | 5.65% | 1 | 0 | 65.2 | 56.1 | 0.839 | Uptrend | 23 | 6.06 | 23.09% | Specialty reinsurer whose cross is backed by rising relative volume; the low P/E reflects a cyclical-return business benefiting from a firm pricing environment. A value-flavored, less-crowded way to express a continued uptrend. |
| IHG | Intercontinental Hotels Group | Consumer Discretionary | Lodging | Hotel Franchisors & Operators | 159.9 | 3.37% | 14.69% | 4.80% | 1 | 0 | 64.3 | 54 | 0.5723 | Uptrend | 132 | 34.02 | 5.40% | Global hotel franchisor with an asset-light model and strong cross-regional exposure. There is no near-term earnings date, so the move is being driven by travel-demand and FX expectations rather than a catalyst. |
| DOCN | DigitalOcean Holdings, Inc. | Information Technology | Software - Infrastructure | Data Center & Enterprise Networking | 127.28 | 0.47% | 42.40% | 3.05% | 1 | 0 | 60.9 | 86.9 | 0.487 | Uptrend | 28 | 57.85 | 15.48% | Cloud-infrastructure name with an enormous volatility score — a structurally high-beta AI-adjacent holding. The recovery is real but thin above the 150-day line, so position sizing matters more than the signal itself. |
| IHS | IHS Holding Limited | Real Estate | Real Estate Services | Telecommunications Carriers | 8.44 | -0.59% | 2.18% | 1.95% | 1 | 0 | 60.3 | 79.8 | 0.5397 | Uptrend | 34 | 5.18 | 3.59% | Emerging-market tower operator that has lagged badly for a long stretch; the cross here is a fragile stabilization in a leveraged, low-multiple business. More of a distressed mean-reversion than a quality uptrend. |
| BATRK | Atlanta Braves Holdings, Inc. - | Communication Services | Entertainment | Professional Sports Teams | 51.96 | 2.97% | 17.80% | 5.16% | 1 | 0 | 59.3 | 69.7 | 1.3218 | Uptrend | 28 | — | 10.52% | Professional-sports holding company with elevated relative volume on the cross — an unusual, event-driven equity whose value is tied to media-rights and stadium economics rather than macro. |
| FLNG | FLEX LNG Ltd. | Energy | Oil & Gas Midstream | Marine Transportation & Shipping | 30.89 | -0.29% | 7.48% | 3.22% | 1 | 0 | 58.9 | 76.9 | 0.7883 | Uptrend | 51 | 22.22 | -2.44% | LNG shipping name whose cross reflects the shipping/tanker strength showing up at the top of the ETF leaderboard this month. A high-volatility, distribution-heavy energy play where the trend is tightly linked to charter rates. |
| TAK | Takeda Pharmaceutical Company L | Health Care | Drug Manufacturers - Specialty & Generic | Autoimmune & Immunology Therapies, Neurology & Rare Diseases, Oncology Therapeutics, Pharmaceuticals | 18.37 | 0.27% | -1.55% | 6.30% | 1 | 0 | 58.3 | 38.2 | 0.815 | Uptrend | 22 | 84.38 | 7.45% | Large-cap pharma ADR, a rare defensive name that found the 150-day line as health care takes over as the market's relative-strength funding source. Multiple pipeline themes (autoimmune, rare disease, oncology) give it more idiosyncratic catalysts than the average pharma. |
| BLCO | Bausch + Lomb Corporation | Health Care | Medical Instruments & Supplies | Autoimmune & Immunology Therapies | 17.34 | -2.20% | 4.84% | 5.51% | 1 | 0 | 57.5 | 66.4 | 0.8719 | Uptrend | 21 | — | 6.47% | Eye-health company recovering from a long de-rating; the cross is shallow and volatility is high, so this is a beaten-down medical-devices name attempting to establish a base rather than a confirmed leadership trend. |
| TTC | Toro Company (The) | Industrials | Tools & Accessories | Equipment Rental Services | 96.42 | 2.17% | -0.25% | 2.56% | 1 | 0 | 54.8 | 43.8 | 0.82 | Sideways channel (53%), Uptrend | 71 | 27.79 | -1.60% | Lawn and turf equipment maker, a classic housing/consumer-durables proxy, with the highest days-to-earnings cushion here. The cross is barely above both averages, making it one of the more fragile setups — sensitive to weather and consumer big-ticket spending. |
| GFL | GFL Environmental Inc. Subordin | Industrials | Waste Management | Waste Management Services | 42.04 | -1.94% | -5.04% | 5.48% | 1 | 0 | 52.3 | 100 | 1.1252 | Uptrend | 22 | 5.54 | — | Waste-management consolidator with a maxed-out volatility score, reflecting an acquisition-heavy, leveraged balance sheet. The cross is just above the 50-day, so the trend is early and dependent on continued capital-markets access. |
| PLXS | Plexus Corp. | Information Technology | Electronic Components | IT Services & Consulting | 266.57 | 6.67% | 21.65% | 6.22% | 1 | 0 | 50.4 | 16.3 | 0.802 | Uptrend | 22 | 39.43 | 1.82% | Electronics manufacturing services name riding the same AI/data-center hardware wave as Flex and TEL; its modest cushion above the 150-day line argues for watching whether volume builds on follow-through. |
| EBAY | eBay Inc. | Consumer Discretionary | Internet Retail | Online Retail Marketplaces | 107.6 | 2.88% | 11.82% | 2.24% | 1 | 0 | 48.2 | 55.1 | 0.6144 | Uptrend | 28 | 22.61 | 7.95% | Turnaround marketplace with a modest cross; the setup is less about trend and more about whether advertising and take-rate initiatives can re-accelerate growth in a mature retail platform. |
| EGBN | Eagle Bancorp, Inc. | Financials | Banks - Regional | US Regional & Community Banks | 28.03 | 1.01% | 9.74% | 4.03% | 1 | 0 | 47.2 | 47.5 | 1.1797 | Uptrend | 15 | — | — | Regional bank crossing with almost no distance above its 50-day and elevated relative volume — a high-beta expression of the same rate-sensitive group that has been the weakest breadth cohort. Treat the cross with caution until the sector stops underperforming. |
| TXNM | TXNM Energy, Inc. | Utilities | Utilities - Regulated Electric | Power Generation & Utilities | 58.51 | 0.72% | 0.33% | 1.18% | 1 | 0 | 46 | 43.5 | 0.6463 | Uptrend | 23 | 31.97 | 9.86% | Regulated utility that found the 150-day line despite utilities being a lagging sector. A defensive, rate-sensitive cross that will live or die with the direction of long-duration yields — an odd place for a 'new uptrend' signal. |
| ULTA | Ulta Beauty, Inc. | Consumer Discretionary | Specialty Retail | Apparel & Footwear | 545.48 | -0.68% | 2.38% | 4.90% | 1 | 0 | 45.2 | 31.5 | 0.5507 | Uptrend | 57 | 20.46 | 9.71% | Beauty retailer with no imminent earnings and a shallow cross, meaning the move is being driven by improving comps expectations rather than a catalyst. Discretionary retail has been soft, so relative strength here is notable but unconfirmed. |
| RXT | Rackspace Technology, Inc. | Information Technology | Software - Infrastructure | Data Center & Enterprise Networking | 3.85 | 19.20% | 296.09% | 3.86% | 1 | 0 | 44.1 | 45 | 0.4947 | Uptrend | 29 | — | -1.88% | A distressed data-center services name with one of the most extreme six-month advances on the list; the 150-day cross is well off the lows but the equity is deeply speculative. Momentum score is disproportionately low versus price action — a crowded, high-risk profile. |
| BP | BP p.l.c. | Energy | Oil & Gas Integrated | Integrated Oil & Gas | 44.51 | -0.82% | -0.69% | 3.74% | 1 | 0 | 43.2 | 100 | 0.7245 | Uptrend | 23 | 21.3 | -1.07% | Integrated oil major crossing with a maxed volatility score and a modest cushion above both averages; the move is more about the sector's cash-return story than a new operating cycle. BP sits in the group that has been a quiet recent leader on the sector table. |
| MEOH | Methanex Corporation | Materials | Chemicals | Fats, Oils & Agribusiness Processing | 60.41 | 0.32% | -1.18% | 5.75% | 1 | 0 | 41 | 58.3 | 0.6848 | Uptrend | 23 | 68.65 | -3.51% | Methanol producer whose price is well above its 50-day and whose commodity spread is the real driver; the cross is a beta-on-methanol-pricing trade rather than an idiosyncratic setup. Chemical margins are the swing factor. |
| DVN | Devon Energy Corporation | Energy | Oil & Gas E&P | Oil & Gas Exploration & Production | 47.88 | -0.43% | 1.30% | 4.16% | 1 | 0 | 39.8 | 51.5 | 0.5033 | Uptrend | 28 | 10.41 | 7.83% | Shale E&P with a low multiple and a modest cross; the setup trades with crude and natural-gas realizations. Note energy is one of the stronger 3M sector performers, which lends some tailwind to the signal. |
| STNE | StoneCo Ltd. | Information Technology | Software - Infrastructure | Fintech & Digital Payments | 11.51 | 14.87% | -0.91% | 6.28% | 0 | 1 | 39.6 | 100 | 1.0552 | Uptrend, Cross-above | 36 | 4.41 | — | One of only three names with the fresh cross flag set today, and the move is gap-like with the 50-day still below the 150-day — a violent Brazil-linked fintech reversal rather than a mature trend. High RSI and maxed volatility flag an extended, headline-sensitive move. |
| INTR | Inter & Co. Inc. | Financials | Banks - Regional | Fintech & Digital Payments | 7.18 | 27.76% | -11.90% | 12.95% | 0 | 1 | 36 | 100 | 2.9831 | Uptrend, Cross-above | 36 | 11.05 | 34.67% | The other fresh-cross flag on the list, on very heavy relative volume — a sharp Brazilian-rate-sensitive rally where the 50-day has yet to reclaim the 150-day. A high-conviction momentum burst but also the most overbought name here; the trend structure is still incomplete. |
| ATEC | Alphatec Holdings, Inc. | Health Care | Medical Devices | Medical Devices & Surgical Technologies | 10.25 | 11.53% | -12.09% | 5.73% | 1 | 0 | 33.2 | 67.2 | 1.1321 | Uptrend | 23 | — | 24.95% | Spine-surgery device name with a genuinely high growth profile and elevated volatility; the cross sits mid-way between a base and a breakout. Earnings in a few weeks make it a catalyst-driven setup rather than a pure trend hold. |
| VLGEA | Village Super Market, Inc. - Class A Common Stock | Consumer Staples | Grocery Stores | Grocery Stores | 43.82 | 2.71% | 1.29% | 2.64% | 1 | 0 | 32.3 | 27.5 | 1.0167 | Sideways channel (45%), Uptrend | 55 | — | 3.76% | Northeast grocery operator with the closest earnings date on the list. A defensive, thin-margin, low-multiple business — an unglamorous but low-beta way to hold an uptrend in a market where breadth is narrow. |
| PCRX | Pacira BioSciences, Inc. | Health Care | Drug Manufacturers - Specialty & Generic | Autoimmune & Immunology Therapies | 25.2 | -2.59% | 8.39% | 3.75% | 1 | 0 | 31.2 | 77.4 | 1.3463 | Sideways channel (40%), Uptrend | 29 | 72 | 3.63% | Pain-management specialist trading at a low forward multiple after a long slide, sitting right on a mid-range channel position. Elevated volatility score reflects pipeline/patent sensitivity; the cross is a stabilization, not a leadership signal. |
| ADMA | ADMA Biologics Inc | Health Care | Biotechnology | Autoimmune & Immunology Therapies | 10.14 | 6.29% | 3.15% | 4.00% | 0 | 1 | 28.6 | 55.3 | 1.1536 | Uptrend, Cross-above | 28 | 14.49 | 19.63% | The third fresh-cross flag today, on a biotech in the autoimmune theme — a theme that has been among the market's worst performers lately. That makes this cross a contrarian bounce rather than a riding-the-trend setup. |
| MTUS | Metallus Inc. | Materials | Steel | Steel Production | 19.97 | 2.83% | 17.47% | 5.81% | 1 | 0 | 25.6 | 50.4 | 0.7523 | Sideways channel (34%), Uptrend | 29 | 105.11 | 6.85% | Specialty steel maker with a high earnings multiple on a depressed base and a borderline channel position; the cross is a cyclical recovery bet tied to industrial demand and tariff/trade policy rather than a durable trend. |
| AES | The AES Corporation | Utilities | Utilities - Diversified | Power Generation & Utilities | 14.93 | 0.67% | 6.00% | 3.48% | 1 | 0 | 22.6 | 55.3 | 0.8343 | Uptrend | 28 | 5.59 | -0.37% | Diversified utility with the highest RSI on the list and the weakest momentum score — a stretched, rate-sensitive cross in a sector the market is treating as a funding source. The signal is worth flagging but the setup looks extended. |
ETFs Crossing Above the 150-Day Moving Average
| Symbol | Fund | Type | ETF Theme | Price | 1M Return | 6M Return | % from 150D SMA | Rel Volume | Expense Ratio % | Top Holdings | Technical Pattern | Comments |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GMMF | iShares Government Money Market | bond | Money Market | 100.245 | 0.20% | 1.68% | 0.95% | 5.7959 | — | — | Uptrend | Government money-market fund; the cross is a pure reflection of cash yields holding up — capital parked at the front of the curve rather than a directional equity signal. |
| DFEV | Dimensional Emerging Markets Value ETF | country | Emerging Markets Value | 42.79 | -0.70% | 15.35% | 6.40% | 3.4531 | 0.43% | 000660.KQ, 00939, RELIANCE.NS, 2317.TW, SMSN, 01398, 2454.TW, 005930.KQ, 9988.HK, 03988 | Uptrend | Emerging-market value sleeve with a cross backed by the strongest relative volume in the equity ETFs here. The holdings are value-tilted Asian and Indian large caps — a cheap, non-US way to own a reflationary uptrend rather than the crowded US mega-cap trade. |
| SCUS | Schwab Ultra-Short Income ETF | bond | Ultra-Short Bond | 25.05 | 0.05% | 1.61% | 0.85% | 2.7009 | — | — | Uptrend | Ultra-short income fund, competing directly with money markets; the signal is about the flat front end staying attractive enough to keep cash out of duration risk. |
| VGUS | Vanguard Ultra-Short Treasury E | bond | Ultra-Short Treasury | 75.475 | 0.26% | 1.74% | 1.03% | 2.5954 | — | — | Uptrend | Ultra-short Treasury sleeve; part of the same cash-substitute complex leading this relative-volume ranking, which tells you more about rate expectations than risk appetite. |
| IQMM | ProShares GENIUS Money Market ETF | bond | Money Market | 100.07 | 0.29% | 1.78% | 1.05% | 2.5656 | — | — | Uptrend | Money-market ETF whose cross reflects a strong front-end yield environment; essentially a parking vehicle rather than a trend to trade. |
| IBDR | iShares iBonds Dec 2026 Term Co | bond | Corporate Bonds | 24.18 | 0.28% | 1.95% | 1.14% | 2.249 | 0.10% | XTSLA | Upward channel (47%), Uptrend | Short-term corporate bond sleeve in an upward channel; the cross shows investment-grade credit spreads staying tight and carry-driven demand intact. |
| EVSB | Eaton Vance Ultra-Short Income | bond | Short Term Bonds | 50.68 | 0.11% | 1.89% | 1.02% | 2.1727 | — | — | Uptrend | Short-duration income fund; the cross is mechanical, driven by floating-rate and front-end coupon accrual rather than any change in credit quality. |
| IBTH | iShares iBonds Dec 2027 Term Tr | bond | Treasury | 22.29 | 0.18% | 1.42% | 0.87% | 2.0314 | — | — | Upward channel (66%), Uptrend | Defined-maturity Treasury sleeve reclaiming its line inside an upward channel — a roll-down/carry trade that depends on the curve, not on a growth view. |
| IALT | iShares Systematic Alternatives Active ETF | other | Alternative Strategies | 30.02 | 2.95% | 9.71% | 6.00% | 2.0264 | — | — | Uptrend | Floating-rate high-income fund; the cross reflects coupon reset mechanics in a firm-rate regime, so treat it as a yield vehicle rather than a directional signal. |
| SPGM | State Street SPDR Portfolio MSCI Global Stock Market ETF | broad_market | Global Stock Market | 87.41 | -0.51% | 11.27% | 4.38% | 1.9556 | 0.09% | NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, TSM, AVGO, GOOG, META, JPM | Upward channel (19%), Uptrend | Global equity sleeve with an upward-channel tag; the cross comes with the broad global tape holding up even as US small caps fade, so this is a cap-weighting/quality tilt rather than a breadth trade. |
| FLRT | Pacer Aristotle Pacific Floatin | bond | Floating Rate High Income | 46.502 | -0.11% | 3.13% | 1.57% | 1.7703 | — | — | Upward channel (0%), Uptrend | Short Treasury sleeve; its position in the channel is near the bottom, meaning the cross is fresh but the fund has spent most of the period grinding sideways — typical of cash-like instruments. |
| XHLF | BondBloxx Bloomberg Six Month T | bond | 6 Month Treasury | 50.15 | -0.08% | 1.39% | 0.70% | 1.6829 | — | — | Uptrend | Short-Treasury sleeve categorized outside the front of the curve; the cross is a rate-environment read rather than a directional equity signal. |

| FLTR | VanEck IG Floating Rate ETF | bond | Floating Rate Bonds | 25.53 | 0.31% | 2.53% | 1.36% | 1.659 | — | — | Uptrend | Investment-grade floating-rate fund; the cross is a function of the front end staying anchored, not of improving credit fundamentals. |
| GSST | Goldman Sachs Ultra Short Bond | bond | Ultrashort Bonds | 50.35 | 0.24% | 1.98% | 1.11% | 1.606 | 0.16% | GCCXX | Upward channel (32%), Uptrend | Ultra-short bond fund tagged mid-channel; the signal is simply that short-duration paper keeps grinding higher as long as the Fed does not cut aggressively. |
| IBTG | iShares iBonds Dec 2026 Term Tr | bond | Treasury | 22.83 | 0.26% | 1.78% | 1.05% | 1.5902 | 0.07% | XTSLA | Upward channel (38%), Uptrend | Defined-maturity Treasury sleeve inside an upward channel — a hold-to-maturity carry product where the cross says little about the broader market. |
| VBIL | Vanguard 0-3 Month Treasury Bil | bond | Ultra-Short Treasury | 75.56 | 0.30% | 1.85% | 1.08% | 1.5186 | — | — | Uptrend | Treasury bill fund; among the cleanest cash proxies here, so the cross is a rate-environment read rather than a risk-on confirmation. |
| PSFF | Pacer Swan SOS Fund of Funds ETF | other | SOS Protection | 35.42 | 1.26% | 8.25% | 4.20% | 1.4755 | 0.66% | PSMO, PSMJ, PSMD, PSMR, PSCW, PSCQ, PSCJ, PSFD, PSFJ, PSFO | Upward channel (60%), Uptrend | Fund-of-funds downside-protection product where the cross is mechanical rather than conviction-driven; the underlying strategy's whole point is dampened volatility, so this is not a directional signal. |
| FLUD | Franklin Ultra Short Bond ETF | bond | Ultra Short Bonds | 24.94 | 0.35% | 1.85% | 1.09% | 1.455 | 0.15% | INFXX | Uptrend, Break-above | Ultra-short Treasury sleeve; the signal is entirely about front-end yields, and the relative volume suggests cash is still being actively allocated to short duration. |
| VUSB | Vanguard Ultra-Short Bond ETF | bond | Ultra-Short Bond | 49.48 | 0.13% | 1.71% | 0.94% | 1.4329 | — | — | Uptrend | Ultra-short bond fund trading just above its 150-day line — a low-volatility income vehicle where the 'uptrend' is a slow accrual drift. |
| BALT | Innovator Defined Wealth Shield ETF | other | Buffer Protection | 35.07 | 0.83% | 4.07% | 2.40% | 1.4075 | — | — | Upward channel (90%), Uptrend | Defined-outcome buffer fund inside an upward channel; the cross is a wrapped equity exposure with capped downside, so the signal is muted by design. |
| VT | Vanguard Total World Stock Index ETF | broad_market | Total World Stock | 159.64 | -0.54% | 11.10% | 4.27% | 1.4073 | 0.06% | NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, 2330.TW, AVGO, GOOG, META, MU | Upward channel (20%), Uptrend | Total-world equity fund riding the same upward-channel, mega-cap-led rally that is keeping the global index afloat while equal-weight breadth deteriorates. Useful as a check on how narrow this uptrend really is. |
| EEMA | iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Asia ETF | country | Emerging Markets Asia | 116.38 | -2.41% | 14.36% | 4.64% | 1.4056 | 0.49% | 2330.TW, 005930.KQ, 000660.KQ, 0700.HK, 9988.HK, 2454.TW, 2308.TW, 00939, 2317.TW, HDFCBANK.NS | Uptrend | Asian emerging-market sleeve with the weakest recent return of the equity ETFs here but a solid cross — the setup is a mean-reversion play on Asia ex-Japan after a rough month, with semiconductor-heavy Taiwan/Korea holdings doing the heavy lifting. |
| RECS | Columbia Research Enhanced Core ETF | broad_market | US Large Cap Core | 45.7 | 1.17% | 13.40% | 5.92% | 1.4017 | 0.15% | NVDA, AAPL, META, MA, MU, BAC, VOX, XLC, CVX, TJX | Upward channel (28%), Uptrend | Research-enhanced large-cap core product sitting in an upward channel; the top holdings (semis, financials, energy) tell you the cross is being driven by the same narrow leadership driving the index. |
| BOXX | Alpha Architect 1-3 Month Box E | bond | Short-Term Fixed Income | 118.53 | 0.34% | 1.94% | 1.17% | 1.3394 | 0.19% | FGXXX | Uptrend | Box-spread short-term fixed-income fund sitting just above its line — a cash-plus product whose cross is mechanical, not a market view. |
| SCJ | iShares MSCI Japan Sm Cap | country | Japan Small Cap | 110.19 | 0.19% | 13.07% | 5.73% | 1.3085 | 0.50% | 6963.T, 5831.T, 7167.T, 8354.T, 5334.T, 3563.T, 3436.T, 6645.T, 9147.T, 6976.T | Upward channel (33%), Uptrend | Japan small-cap sleeve crossing well above its 150-day line — a notable signal given Japan equity is holding up better than most developed markets this month. |
| AAXJ | iShares MSCI All Country Asia ex Japan ETF | country | Asia ex Japan | 116.83 | -2.23% | 14.08% | 4.58% | 1.2377 | 0.72% | 2330.TW, 005930.KQ, 000660.KQ, 0700.HK, 9988.HK, 2454.TW, D05.SI, 2308.TW, 005935, 00939 | Uptrend | Asia-ex-Japan country sleeve with a cross despite a negative recent return, mirroring the broader EM Asia setup; the signal is a positioning reset in the region rather than a fresh catalyst. |
| CLOA | iShares AAA CLO Active ETF | bond | AAA CLOs | 51.8 | 0.31% | 2.52% | 1.41% | 1.2187 | 0.20% | XTSLA | Upward channel (27%), Uptrend | AAA CLO fund in an upward channel; the cross confirms senior CLO paper is still bid, which says the market is comfortable with structured credit in a firm-rate backdrop. |
| VRIG | Invesco Variable Rate Investmen | bond | Floating Rate Investment Grade | 25.045 | 0.26% | 2.14% | 1.14% | 1.2104 | 0.30% | AGPXX | Uptrend | Investment-grade floating-rate sleeve; the cross reflects coupon reset mechanics, and its relative volume shows investors still using floaters as a rate hedge. |
| FTSM | First Trust Enhanced Short Matu | bond | Short Term Bonds | 59.58 | 0.11% | 1.62% | 0.89% | 1.2059 | — | — | Uptrend | Enhanced short-maturity fund; a cash-management vehicle where the cross is a front-end carry signal rather than an equity trend. |
| IBHF | iShares iBonds 2026 Term High Y | bond | High Yield Bonds | 22.485 | 0.30% | 0.66% | 0.67% | 1.1871 | 0.35% | XTSLA | Uptrend | Short-dated high-yield sleeve; the cross shows the short end of the junk curve still performing, which is a meaningful credit-risk-appetite tell at the margin. |
| FDMO | Fidelity Momentum Factor ETF | theme | Momentum | 96.63 | 1.48% | 15.31% | 5.47% | 1.1772 | 0.15% | NVDA, AAPL, GOOGL, AMZN, MU, AMD, JPM, LLY, SNDK, BRK-B | Upward channel (49%), Uptrend | Momentum-factor equity ETF with the strongest 1M return among the equity funds here; the cross confirms the factor itself is working, which is itself a statement about how trend-dependent this market is. |
| CGUI | Capital Group Ultra Short Incom | bond | Ultra Short Bonds | 25.24 | 0.18% | 1.68% | 0.94% | 1.1723 | — | — | Upward channel (34%), Uptrend | Ultra-short income fund in an upward channel — a holding vehicle where the cross simply reflects the flat-to-rising front end. |
| TFLO | iShares Treasury Floating Rate | bond | Floating Rate Bonds | 50.54 | 0.34% | 1.94% | 1.14% | 1.1717 | 0.15% | XTSLA | Uptrend | Treasury floating-rate fund; the cross is driven by resets on T-bill-linked coupons and tells you nothing directional about the market. |
| VTHR | Vanguard Russell 3000 ETF | broad_market | US Broad Market | 341.27 | 1.14% | 14.79% | 5.83% | 1.154 | 0.06% | NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, AVGO, GOOG, META, MU, TSLA | Upward channel (31%), Uptrend | Broad US market fund in an upward channel — the most direct read on how cap-weighted and narrow this uptrend is, since the index is being carried by a handful of mega caps while equal-weight breadth fades. |
| VOT | Vanguard Mid-Cap Growth ETF | broad_market | US Mid Cap Growth | 300.18 | 0.54% | 11.03% | 3.56% | 1.1421 | 0.05% | VRT, HWM, NET, STX, PWR, CEG, DASH, HOOD, MSI, DDOG | Upward channel (29%), Uptrend | Mid-cap growth sleeve whose top holdings (data-center power, storage, semiconductors) are exactly the compute-supply-chain names driving the market. A cleaner way to own the AI-infrastructure theme than picking single stocks. |
| BDYN | iShares Dynamic Equity Active ETF | broad_market | Dynamic Equity | 28.1168 | -0.18% | 11.09% | 4.00% | 1.1236 | 0.39% | AAPL, NVDA, GOOG, MSFT, AMZN, XTSLA, GLD, AVGO, LLY, MU | Uptrend | Active dynamic-equity fund with a diversified top-10 spanning mega caps, gold and cash-like instruments; the cross reflects a defensive-tilted core rather than a high-conviction directional bet. |
| LCTU | iShares U.S. Carbon Transition Readiness Aware Active ETF | theme | Carbon Transition | 83.17 | 1.14% | 14.68% | 6.02% | 1.1048 | 0.15% | NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, AVGO, GOOG, META, BAC, TSLA | Upward channel (31%), Uptrend | Carbon-transition-tilted US large-cap sleeve in an upward channel; the holdings are essentially mega-cap tech, so the cross is a thematic wrapper around the same leadership. |
| ICSH | iShares Ultra Short Duration Bo | bond | Ultra Short Bonds | 50.295 | 0.12% | 1.57% | 0.89% | 1.0999 | — | — | Uptrend | Ultra-short duration fund; cash-equivalent dynamics mean the cross is an interest-rate statement, not a trend signal. |
| TBIL | F/m US Treasury 3 Month Bill Fu | bond | US Treasury Bills | 49.89 | 0.27% | 1.80% | 1.06% | 1.0963 | — | — | Uptrend | Three-month bill fund; the cross reflects the front end grinding higher with bills yielding attractively, a cash-parking read rather than risk-on confirmation. |
| PMMF | iShares Prime Money Market ETF | bond | Money Market | 100.25 | 0.21% | 1.75% | 1.00% | 1.0922 | — | — | Uptrend | Prime money-market fund; like the other cash-like names on this list, the cross is a high-front-end-yield story rather than a market directional call. |
| SHV | iShares 0-1 Year Treasury Bond | bond | US Treasury Short Term | 110.12 | 0.26% | 1.76% | 1.03% | 1.0848 | — | — | Uptrend | 0-1 year Treasury fund; among the tightest spreads to its 150-day line on the ETF list, confirming this is cash management rather than a directional trade. |
| PATN | Pacer Nasdaq International Patent Leaders ETF | theme | Patent Leaders | 35.8016 | -0.96% | 17.87% | 5.27% | 1.0828 | 0.65% | 2330.TW, 005930.KQ, 000660.KQ, ASML.AS, 0700.HK, 7203.T, NOVN.SW, ROP.SW, SAP.DE, 9988.HK | Uptrend | International patent-leaders sleeve with a genuinely differentiated, non-US holding list dominated by Asian tech and European industrials — a rare cross in this list that is not just a US mega-cap proxy. |
| VNLA | Janus Henderson Short Duration | bond | Short Duration Bonds | 48.64 | 0.03% | 1.72% | 0.90% | 1.0798 | — | — | Uptrend | Short-duration bond fund; the cross is mechanical and driven by carry, so it belongs in the same cash-substitute bucket as the rest of the fixed-income heavyweights here. |
| JAAA | Janus Henderson AAA CLO ETF | bond | CLO | 50.51 | 0.26% | 2.46% | 1.37% | 1.0785 | — | — | Upward channel (10%), Uptrend | AAA CLO fund crossing as credit spreads stay tight; the signal is about the front end of the credit curve behaving like equity in an uptrend, which says more about liquidity conditions than about risk appetite. |

What this screen captures
Names in the curated universe that have recently reclaimed their 150-day simple moving average, the classic dividing line between a broken chart and a new uptrend.
A caveat on interpretation: the strict fresh-cross flag is set for only a handful of names in the latest session (these appear with New Cross Flag = 1). The broader list is deliberately wider — stocks and funds now trading just above the 150-day line with the 50-day average above the 150-day average, i.e., the trend has turned up rather than being at the exact moment of the cross.
Why the list looks the way it does
- The crowd has a clear center of gravity: technology infrastructure. Semicap, storage, EDA, cybersecurity and the electronic-components supply chain dominate the top of the stock list. Tech is the only sector positive on both the one- and three-month horizons, and it holds by far the highest share of names above their 50-day averages.
- Industrials are over-represented relative to their weak sector tape. Automation and specialty-machinery names (Rockwell, AMETEK, Gates, Enpro) are reclaiming the line on re-shoring and data-center-capex narratives even as the sector as a whole lags.
- Health care shows up as the non-tech relative-strength cohort, with ResMed, Takeda, Pacira and Alphatec providing a defensive counterweight.
- The rate-sensitive tail is a warning, not an endorsement. Regional banks (Community West, Eagle Bancorp), a lodging REIT (Sunstone), a utility (TXNM) and carbon-transition wrappers appear on technical signals while their sectors are the weakest by breadth. A 150-day cross in a lagging, rate-sensitive group has a much lower hit rate.
- The deepest, most violent crosses are Brazil/EM fintech. StoneCo and Inter & Co. both carry the fresh-cross flag with extreme RSI and volatility readings — genuine momentum bursts, but with an incomplete 50-day/150-day structure.
On the ETF side
The relative-volume ranking surfaces something telling: the heaviest trading is concentrated in short-duration and cash-like fixed income (money-market and Treasury bill ETFs, ultra-short bond funds, AAA CLOs). In a market where the long end is leaking and real yields are rising, capital is being parked at the front of the curve — an "uptrend" in those funds is really a liquidity signal, not a risk-on one. The genuinely directional equity ETFs that made the list — global and emerging-market sleeves, momentum factor, and mid-cap growth — are all cap-weighted proxies for the same handful of mega-cap leaders. That is the honest read of this screen: many crossings, but narrow confirmation.
