### US Equity ETFs by Dividend Yield (TTM) — as of October 9, 2026

| Symbol | ETF Name | ETF Type | ETF Theme | Dividend Yield (TTM) | Expense Ratio | 1Y Return | 6M Return | 1M Return | AUM | Top Holdings | Comments |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| XOVR | ERShares Private-Public Crossover ETF | other | Private-Public Crossover | 46.78% | 0.75% | 3.45% | 30.24% | 8.09% | 2.023e+09 | NVDA, GOOGL, META, VEEV, HOOD, FTNT, NTRA, ANET, DASH | The highest headline yield in the screen is a mechanical artifact, not income: a one-off capital-gains/return-of-capital distribution grossed up the TTM figure. Treat as a growth fund with a distorting payout, not a yield vehicle. |
| DAPP | VanEck Digital Transformation ETF | theme | Digital Transformation | 13.80% | 0.52% | -29.87% | 6.52% | -8.66% | 4.995e+08 | COIN, XYZ, BMNR, CRCL, IREN, HUT, MSTR, RIOT, MARA, CLSK | Payout reflects realized gains from crypto-equity holdings rather than recurring dividends — distribution is entirely dependent on the digital-asset cycle, so treat the yield as episodic and highly cyclical. |
| KWEB | KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF | theme | China Internet | 8.41% | 0.69% | -37.46% | -13.14% | 2.00% | 6.226e+09 | 0700.HK, 9988.HK, PDD, 3690.HK, 9999.HK, 0992.HK, 2423.HK, 9618.HK, 9961.HK, 9888.HK | China internet names are rebuilding shareholder returns through buybacks and maiden special dividends as Beijing encourages capital return; the yield is real but sits on top of a structurally volatile, policy-sensitive earnings base. |
| EZA | iShares MSCI South Africa Index Fund | country | South Africa | 7.91% | 0.59% | 2.94% | -9.62% | -8.25% | 6.926e+08 | AU, GFI.JO, NPN.JO, FSR.JO, SBK.JO, MTN.JO, CPI.JO, VAL.JO, ABG.JO, IMP.JO | Yield is the classic emerging-market South Africa profile — mining and bank payouts riding commodity cash flow and a rand that has been the real return driver; global-growth sensitivity makes the payout pro-cyclical. |
| AMLP | Alerian MLP ETF | theme | MLP | 7.74% | 1.01% | 22.75% | 4.39% | -5.72% | 1.214e+10 | SUN, MPLX, PAA, WES, ET, EPD, HESM, CQP, USAC, GEL | MLP distributions are fee-based and underpinned by long-haul energy transport contracts, so the income stream is durable — but the fund structure itself creates a drag and the fee here is one of the highest in the high-yield cohort. |
| MLPA | Global X MLP ETF | theme | Energy MLPs | 7.45% | 0.77% | 21.78% | 4.23% | -6.14% | 2.103e+09 | ET, EPD, MPLX, PAA, WES, SUN, HESM, CQP, USAC, GEL | Same midstream MLP engine as AMLP at a lower fee; distributions are supported by take-or-pay transportation volumes rather than commodity price, the key reason the yield has held while oil has swung. |
| KDEF | PLUS Korea Defense Industry Index ETF | theme | Korea Defense | 7.42% | 0.65% | -13.56% | -32.79% | -5.02% | 1.568e+08 | 012450.KQ, 079550.KQ, 047810.KQ, 064350.KQ, 103140.KQ, 437730.KQ, 064960.KQ, 003570.KQ, 099320.KQ, 032820.KQ | A defense-index payout inflated by a small, concentrated basket of Korean primes; the high yield reflects capital return after a big defense-export order cycle, and single-country geopolitical headline risk is elevated. |
| XT | iShares Future Exponential Technologies ETF | theme | Exponential Technologies | 6.69% | 0.46% | 25.04% | 23.79% | 5.63% | 4.074e+09 | TXN, MSFT, LLY, TSLA, NVDA, PANW, ADI, JNJ, CRWD, AMZN | Yield comes largely from the dividend-paying mega-cap sleeve (semis, pharma, comms) inside a technology tilt — income is a by-product, not the thesis; growth exposure dominates the risk profile. |
| POWR | iShares U.S. Power Infrastructure ETF | theme | Power Infrastructure | 5.92% | 0.39% | 7.78% | -2.54% | 0.04% | — | ETN, PWR, GEV, NEE, EQT, SO, NVT, DUK, CEG, HUBB | Power/utility infrastructure yield benefits from the electricity-demand build-out for data centers; regulated and contracted cash flows make this one of the more defensible high yields on the list. |
| PFIX | Simplify Interest Rate Hedge ETF | other | Interest Rate Hedge | 5.69% | 0.50% | 37.57% | 38.16% | 15.57% | 2.311e+08 | SBIL | The distribution here is generated by the fund's interest-rate and options positions, not by dividend-paying equities — the 'yield' behaves like an insurance premium payout and is not a substitute for equity income. |
| CEFS | Saba Closed-End Funds ETF | other | Closed-End Funds | 5.64% | 2.61% | 14.81% | 7.20% | -2.00% | 4.208e+08 | BSTZ, ASA, NFJ, GDX, RMT, ECAT, GDV, GAM | — |
| URA | Global X Uranium ETF | theme | Uranium | 5.36% | 0.69% | -20.12% | -23.67% | -13.56% | 7.063e+09 | CCO.TO, NXE.TO, OKLO, UEC, KAP, PDN.AX, EFR.TO, SMR, LEU | Uranium exposure with a distribution boosted by miner-level capital return as spot prices rose; the underlying basket is deeply cyclical and the payout will track the nuclear-fuel cycle, not earnings consistency. |
| EWH | iShares MSCI Hong Kong Index Fund | country | Hong Kong | 4.69% | 0.50% | 7.41% | -6.13% | -1.82% | 1.09e+09 | 1299.HK, 0388.HK, 0001.HK, 2388.HK, 0002.HK, 0669.HK, 0016.HK, 0823.HK, 1113.HK, 0006.HK | Hong Kong income is dominated by property and financial names whose dividends have been cut in past downturns; the yield is optically high partly because of price weakness in the underlying basket. |
| EFV | iShares MSCI EAFE Value ETF | country | Developed Markets Value | 4.67% | 0.31% | 20.32% | 3.27% | -3.97% | 3.012e+10 | HSBA.L, SHEL.L, 8306.T, NESN.SW, ROP.SW, ALV.DE, 7203.T, NOVN.SW, TTE.PA, 8316.T | Developed-markets value yield leans on European banks, insurers and energy — cheap, cash-generative sectors, but the payout mix is cyclical and currency translation materially affects the dollars investors receive. |
| EWJV | iShares MSCI Japan Value ETF | country | Japan Value | 4.67% | 0.15% | 29.29% | 10.05% | -1.99% | 7.153e+08 | 8306.T, 7203.T, 8316.T, 8411.T, 9984.T, 8058.T, 8031.T, 6752.T, 9433.T, 6981.T | Japan value exposure benefits from the corporate-governance push that has forced higher payouts and buybacks across Japanese large caps — a structural tailwind for the income stream, not just a valuation story. |
| ALLW | State Street Bridgewater All Weather ETF | other | All Weather Allocation | 4.45% | 0.85% | 6.23% | -1.89% | -2.42% | 1.523e+09 | GVMXX, SPYM | — |
| IMTM | iShares MSCI Intl Momentum Factor ETF | theme | International Momentum | 4.44% | 0.30% | 14.04% | 2.45% | -1.84% | 4.013e+09 | ASML.AS, RY, HSBA.L, TD, 285A.T, NOVN.SW, 8306.T, SHEL.L, ROP.SW, TTE.PA | UAE yield sits on sovereign-linked banks and telecoms with strong state cash-flow backing; the country concentration and oil-price sensitivity are the main risks to a currently reliable payout. |
| UAE | iShares MSCI UAE ETF | country | UAE | 4.41% | 0.59% | 4.67% | 4.20% | -1.63% | 2.749e+08 | FAB.AB, EAND.AB, EMAAR.AE, EMIRATESNBD.AE, ADCB.AB, ADIB.AB, ALDAR.AB, DIB.AE, ADNOCGAS.AB, DEWA.AE | — |
| DBMF | iMGP DBi Managed Futures Strategy ETF | other | Managed Futures | 4.34% | — | 22.16% | 9.85% | 3.85% | 3.898e+09 | — | Managed-futures strategy whose 'yield' is really a distribution of trading gains — the income can vanish or flip to zero in a trendless market, so it should not be relied on as equity income. |
| EWN | iShares MSCI Netherlands Index Fund | country | Netherlands | 4.26% | 0.50% | 19.61% | 7.77% | -1.32% | 5.5e+08 | ASML.AS, INGA.AS, NBIS, PRX.AS, ASM.AS, AD.AS, ABN.AS, ADYEN.AS, AER, NN.AS | — |
| MLPX | Global X MLP & Energy Infrastructure ETF | theme | MLP & Energy Infrastructure | 4.25% | 0.45% | 22.05% | 0.57% | -4.13% | 3.543e+09 | WMB, TRP.TO, ENB.TO, TRGP, KMI, OKE, LNG, MPLX, EPD, ET | Midstream infrastructure outside the MLP wrapper, which avoids the K-1 and the worst of the fund-level tax drag; the payout is fee-based and energy-transition-relevant via natural-gas and power infrastructure. |
| DMXF | iShares ESG Advanced MSCI EAFE ETF | country | EAFE ESG | 4.19% | 0.12% | 14.70% | 7.61% | -0.90% | 1.145e+09 | ASML.AS, NOVN.SW, 8306.T, SAP.DE, SU.PA, ALV.DE, CBA.AX, 8035.T, 8316.T, 6857.T | An ESG-tilted developed-markets fund offering a value-like yield at a very low fee — the payout comes from the same banks, energy and staples that dominate MSCI EAFE value. |
| COLO | Global X MSCI Colombia ETF | country | Colombia | 4.11% | 0.62% | 55.29% | 18.87% | -5.91% | 1.274e+08 | PFCIBEST.CL, ECOPETROL.CL, ISA.CL, CIBEST, GEB.CL, PFDAVIGRP, CEMARGOS.CL, GRUPOSURA.CL, PFAVAL | Colombia yield is elevated because of high local interest rates and an equity market heavy in banks and energy; political and currency risk make this a carry trade as much as an income holding. |
| GDE | WisdomTree Efficient Gold Plus Equity Strategy Fund | other | Gold & Equity | 4.09% | 0.20% | 12.82% | -1.12% | -0.63% | 5.951e+08 | NVDA, AAPL, GOOGL, MSFT, AMZN, META, AVGO, MU, LLY | A hybrid that pairs gold exposure with a dividend-equity overlay; the yield derives from the equity sleeve and is lower than pure equity income, so this is a real-asset diversifier with an income kicker rather than a yield play. |
| BRTR | iShares Total Return Active ETF | broad_market | Total Return Equity | 4.08% | 0.38% | -1.65% | -2.69% | -1.53% | 6.63e+08 | BISXX, BINC | Active total-return equity strategy with a value/income orientation; the yield leans on cash distributions rather than a pure dividend index, so the manager's positioning drives the payout. |
| HEFA | iShares Currency Hedged MSCI EAFE ETF | broad_market | Developed International Hedged | 4.03% | 0.35% | 18.99% | 6.30% | 0.62% | 7.128e+09 | EFA, XTSLA | — |
| HAUZ | Xtrackers International Real Estate ETF | theme | International Real Estate | 3.87% | 0.10% | -6.51% | -10.10% | -4.27% | 1.046e+09 | GMG.AX, 8802.T, 8801.T, 8830.T, 0016.HK, SGRO.L, VNA.DE, SCG.AX, 0823.HK, 1113.HK | International real-estate income at a very low fee; REIT payouts are rate-sensitive and the yield has been supported by depressed prices — a rate-driven, not earnings-driven, yield. |
| SLVR | Sprott Silver Miners & Physical Silver ETF | theme | Silver Miners & Physical | 3.79% | 0.65% | 27.03% | -7.90% | -10.94% | 8.468e+08 | AG.TO, PSLV, AYA.TO, WPM.TO, SVM.TO, EXK, ABRA.TO, USA.TO, GGD.TO, VZLA.TO | Silver-miner distributions are effectively a return of windfall cash flow from a metal-price spike; the 'yield' is one of the least durable in the screen and should not be treated as recurring income. |
| URNM | Sprott Uranium Miners ETF | theme | Uranium Miners | 3.75% | 0.75% | -19.47% | -24.62% | -14.88% | 2.21e+09 | CCO.TO, U-U.TO, NXE.TO, 1164.HK, KAP, UEC, PDN.AX, YCA.L, EFR.TO, DML.TO | Uranium-miner basket where the distribution tracks the nuclear-fuel cycle; like URA, the payout is a by-product of a commodity bull phase rather than a stable dividend policy. |
| EWS | iShares MSCI Singapore ETF | country | Singapore | 3.75% | 0.50% | 13.35% | 13.35% | -5.30% | 7.827e+08 | O39.SI, D05.SI, BS6.SI, U11.SI, BN4.SI, S63.SI, F34.SI, C6L.SI, Z74.SI, A17U.SI | Singapore yields come from bank and REIT heavyweights with a strong payout culture; the payout is comparatively durable but Singapore-dollar translation and regional growth matter. |
| EWM | iShares MSCI Malaysia Index Fund | country | Malaysia | 3.74% | 0.50% | 6.25% | -5.02% | -4.44% | 3.662e+08 | 1295.KL, 1023.KL, 1155.KL, 5347.KL, 8869.KL, 5398.KL, 6742.KL, 1015.KL, 5819.KL, 5285.KL | — |

| EWD | iShares MSCI Sweden ETF | country | Sweden | 3.54% | 0.51% | 9.76% | 0.12% | -1.69% | 3.204e+08 | SPOT, INVE B, ATCO-A.ST, VOLV-B.ST, SAND.ST, SEB-A.ST, SWED-A.ST, ASSA-B.ST, ATCO B, ERIC-B.ST | — |

| EIDO | iShares MSCI Indonesia ETF | country | Indonesia | 3.44% | 0.59% | -29.91% | -24.29% | -7.47% | 2.886e+08 | BBCA.JK, BBRI.JK, BMRI.JK, ASII.JK, TLKM.JK, BBNI.JK, BRMS.JK, INDF.JK, BRPT.JK, MDKA.JK | — |

| SCHC | Schwab International Small-Cap Equity ETF | country | International Small Cap | 3.40% | 0.06% | 11.48% | 4.73% | -1.85% | 5.611e+09 | DPM.TO, ELD.TO, GTT.PA, STB.OL, TKA.DE, GMIN.TO, ALSYDB.CO, NKT.CO, FRO | International small-cap income at a rock-bottom fee; the yield is sourced from a broad, less-concentrated basket, which reduces single-name payout risk but keeps small-cap cyclicality. |
| EWZ | iShares MSCI Brazil ETF | country | Brazil | 3.36% | 0.59% | 52.31% | 6.35% | 12.91% | 1.017e+10 | VALE3.SA, ITUB4, NU, PETR4, PETR3.SA, BBDC4, B3SA3.SA, WEGE3.SA, AXIA3.SA, BPAC11 | Brazil yield rides on high local rates, commodity exporters and a strong recent equity rally; the payout is real but the local-currency and political backdrop make it volatile in dollar terms. |
| EPOL | iShares MSCI Poland ETF | country | Poland | 3.36% | 0.59% | 39.89% | 12.36% | -2.95% | 6.425e+08 | PKO.WA, PKN.WA, PEO.WA, PZU.WA, ALE.WA, EBP.WA, LPP.WA, KGH.WA, MBK.WA, DNP.WA | Poland benefits from EU-fund flows and a hawkish central bank that keeps bank dividends high; the yield is underpinned by one of the faster-growing emerging-European economies. |
| IDMO | Invesco S&P International Developed Momentum ETF | theme | International Developed Momentum | 3.35% | 0.25% | 15.57% | 3.11% | -2.78% | 3.814e+09 | ASML.AS, RY, HSBA.L, TD, 8306.T, 285A.T, NOVN.SW, D05.SI, BHP.AX, SAN.MC | — |

### Is the yield sustainable or price-driven?

### Reading the yield: genuine cash flow vs. an optical number

The headline figures in this screen come from trailing-12-month distributions, which blend three very different things: recurring dividends from underlying portfolio companies, one-off capital-gains or return-of-capital payments, and option/derivative premium income. Only the first behaves like income.

**Most sustainable (business-model-backed income)**
- **Energy midstream / infrastructure** — AMLP, MLPA, MLPX, POWR. Distributions are funded by fee-based transportation, storage and power-infrastructure contracts rather than by commodity prices. Take-or-pay volumes make these payouts comparatively resilient even when crude swings. The MLP-wrapper funds carry tax complexity and structure drag.
- **Mature developed-market equity income** — IEFA, EFV, EWJV, DMXF, SCHC. These draw from large European and Japanese banks, insurers, energy and telecoms that are cheap, cash-generative and, in Japan, actively raising payouts under governance reform. The yield is a valuation story, not a distress story.

**Yield supported but cycle-dependent**
- **Country/EM funds** — EZA, EWH, EWZ, EPOL, COLO, UAE, EWS, EWM, THD, EIDO. High yields reflect high local rates, commodity-linked earnings, and in several cases price weakness in the underlying market. Payouts can be substantial, but they move with local earnings, commodity cycles and the currency. Dollar-based investors should remember a large part of the return is FX.
- **Commodity-linked miners** — URA, URNM, SLVR. Distributions are windfall capital returns during a commodity up-cycle. They look magnificent at the peak and can drop to zero in a downturn — these are tactical, not core income.

**Optical or at-risk yields — treat with skepticism**
- **XOVR (the screen's top yielder)** is the clearest example of a mechanical distortion: a large one-time distribution grosses up the trailing figure. It is a growth fund, not an income fund.
- **DAPP** passes through realized gains on crypto-infrastructure holdings. **PFIX** and **DBMF** distribute the proceeds of rate-hedge and managed-futures strategies — these are trading outcomes, not dividends, and can vanish in a trendless or low-volatility regime.

**Practical screen use**: the second table re-ranks the highest yielders by lowest cost. The cheapest genuinely income-oriented options are the developed-markets core funds (EWJV, IEFA, EFV, DMXF) and the fee-efficient infrastructure sleeve (POWR, MLP & energy-infrastructure). Conversely, the MLP wrappers and the closed-end-fund fund-of-funds (CEFS) carry structurally high expenses that erode a meaningful share of the gross yield. Also note **XOVR** and **DAPP** — high headline yields that are the least likely to repeat.

**Bottom line**: if the goal is durable income, favor fee-based energy infrastructure and developed-market value/income baskets; if the goal is total return with an income kicker, the EM and commodity-miner yields are fair-weather friends. With the 10-year Treasury still near 4.6%, an equity ETF yielding 3–5% only makes sense when the payout is growing and the underlying earnings are stable — the ones that qualify are visibly the infrastructure and developed-value names, not the capital-return artifacts at the top of the list.
